Volunteering and tickets:
A sign-up will be shared with all enrolled participants for some volunteer opportunities. We always need folks to usher for the performances, help out before and after performances, and sometimes even help supervise students during the performances. If you have other skills or interests, let us know!
Ushers are able to see the performance at which they volunteer, for free. Every enrolled participant has two complimentary tickets for friends or family to use. Additional tickets will be available for $8.
About the show!
"The holiday classic soars off the screen in this Broadway Junior, 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved television special. Filled with holiday hits like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "A Holly Jolly Christmas," Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ JR. features all of your favorite characters including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph. It’s an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special.
Because of his shiny nose, Rudolph doesn't feel like he belongs in Christmastown and sets off to find a place that accepts him. Along his journey, he encounters fellow misfits, only to realize that home is where he has belonged the whole time. When a storm threatens to keep Santa's sleigh from taking flight, it's up to Rudolph to save Christmas!"
TLT is producing the full version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed-Reindeer as well! Act fast if your family would like to book tickets for the Mainstage production, as it is bound to be a popular show! Especially if you are hoping to see the show on December 30 (7 PM) or 31 (2 PM).
Ages: Grades 1 through 12
All performances take place at Tacoma Little Theatre.
