Tacoma Little Theatre's Drama School

 Tacoma Little Theatre (TLT) introduces our DRAMA School!  TLT has expanded its Educational Program to help students grow to their full potential.  TLT’s vision is to allow students to step into our new 10 week classes and learn new techniques and styles that will fully help students thrive as actors.  Each 10-week semester is designed for students to complete and move forward to the next session and ultimately prepare them for the industry of acting without any surprises. 

TLT also has exciting avenues for performance through their camps and main stage productions.  Students get to put their learned techniques, skills and talent to work on stage and toward a variety of performance venues hosted by TLT.

Confidence, team work, collaboration, solution finding, and innovative thinking are only a taste of the life skills that can be built within the "art of theatre."  Whether students choose to make theatre a career goal or simply improve their journey in life… our Drama School can provide the outlet students need. 

Our instructors are professionals with a variety of expertise within the industry of theatre.  Additionally, all instructors complete a vision syllabus for outstanding learning and must pass an extensive background check required by TLT.

Our Drama School is designed to enhance home schooling curriculums as well as build upon traditional schooling views by bringing the importance and value of art into our learning and consistent routine.

Each summer is packed with an explosion of fun including our NEW Shakespeare Touring group THE YOUNG COMMEDIANS.  This new touring camp will include camping and overnights to exciting Washington locations and two Shakespearean productions in rep!
